1.The Florida Capital Soccer Invitational follows the FHSAA soccer rules.


2.Each team is guaranteed three (3) games.  The tournament committee reserves the right to change pairings at its discretion. The tournament format will be round robin.


3.Games consist of two 40 minute halves with a 10 minute halftime.


4.Teams listed first in the paring are the HOME team.  In the event of a color conflict, home team will change color.


5.Teams arriving 15 minutes or more after the start of the scheduled time will forfeit that game.


6.Substitutions are based on the FHSAA guidelines.


7.All players must wear approved FHSAA protective shin guards at all times. No jewelry or metal hair clips may be worn.


8.Games ending in a tie remain in a tie.


9.There are no protests. Issues of play are under the authority of referees.


10.The game score card signed by the referee is the official result of the game for scoring purposes.


11.Any player that receives one caution must leave the game until the next dead ball. If a second caution is awarded to the same individual (player or coach) it will be treated as an ejection.


12.If a player is ejected, the team may not replace the ejected player and must play one man down for the continuation of the game.


13.Tournament rankings are determined by points:

3 points for the Win

1 point for the Tie

0 points for the Loss

In the event of a tie on points, standings will be determined as follows:

•Head to head

•Goal differential

•Goals for

•Goals against

•Penalty kicks

Please note, the first eleven players on the field at the end of the game will be eligible for the penalty kicks.


Team and Individual trophies will be awarded to the winners and runners up in each bracket.


All trophy winners are asked to stay for the trophy presentation and have the tournament photograph taken.
